As Christ’s Light in Orange Beach our church family is called to be difference-makers with Christ in the lives of others.  In order for us to make a difference in attracting, warming, illuminating, and reaching others with the light and love of Christ, God gives us spiritual gifts- abilities, passion, talents which God will use to build-up and touch others.

            Carol McCracken: Carol McCracken is a wonderful member of our church and is my staff assistant in the area of developing leadership and programs at OBUMC.  One of her chief focuses this year as we move into the fall is to help us each to grow in our awareness of our spiritual gifts.  Don’t hesitate to contact Carol or me as we move forward in this special focus for ministry.

            Spiritual Gift Inventory: Carol and I wish to invite all of our church family to take a 21 question spiritual gift inventory provided by the United Methodist Church.  This survey enables you and Carol to determine what areas of giftedness God has laid upon your heart and in your life.

Report Your Results: When you take the survey, you will discover primary and secondary gifts for ministry such as Administration, Compassion, Discernment, Evangelism, Healing, Exhortation.
