Joining the staff of Orange Beach UMC in October, 2008, Karen serves as the administrative assistant to Senior Pastor, Alan McBride.
Prior to joining OBUMC, Karen worked in the real estate and insurance businesses and owned a small boutique in Jackson, Alabama.
Karen loves to tell people “I was raised Baptist, went to Catholic school, joined the Presbyterian church as an adult, but I have found my home at OBUMC! Karen joined Orange Beach UMC on November 23, 2008. Her favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.”
Karen and her family moved to Orange Beach in January, 1998 from Jackson, AL. Karen has three children: Tori is attending Spring Hill College, Hallie is an 8th grader and Triston is in the 5th grade.
