Ben was employed in January 2007 to serve as pianist for OBUMC.  Prior to serving at Orange Beach, he served as pianist for First Baptist Church of Greenville, Al for 4 years and filled in for various churches in the area.

Ben is self-employed and operates Down To Earth Landscaping and Maintenance, LLC.

Routinely Ben played the piano for his home church, Antioch East Baptist Church in Greenville, Al during his pre-teen and youth years.  It was thru music that he came to an awareness of the need to accept Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord.  Through the years, he has continued to use his God given talent for music in service to Christ.

Ben grew up in Greenville, Al.  His parents Robert and Peggy Johnson have two other sons, Brian and David, and one daughter, Julie.
